Designer Audrey Wyckmans and her team jettisoned all conventions for the creation of the Limited Edition: "The collection reflects the adventurous attitude of the design process. We began with innovative fabrics and cuts, to create an ensemble of favourite silhouettes that explores the boundaries yet remains true to the Gigue signature."
The fabrics of the Limited Edition collection are palpably luxurious, from knitwear in soft cashmere to tailoring in luxurious wool. The beloved scuba fabric pops up in a combination of a lilac dress and bomber jacket. For a midi skirt and shirt dress with voluminous sleeves, a sophisticated taffeta that moves up from lilac to grey was chosen, an elegant statement.
Gigue is a Belgian fashion house and we communicate this with pride. The Belgian top model Ines Neefs is the perfect face for both the sophisticated collection and for the campaign with a futuristic allure.
We also found the breath-taking location (just) within the borders of our country. The Bridge of Vroenhoven leads from Riemst to Maastricht and forms the architectural backdrop for the campaign.
